Università Politecnica delle Marche is now accepting applications for Doctoral research programs for the 2024/25, 2025/26, and 2026/27 academic years.

Scholarship and Admission Information
Scholarships funded or co-funded by external parties are dependent on agreements with those parties or on the availability of specific funds, particularly for scholarships financed by Ministries.
Scholarships funded under decrees DD. MM. 629/2024 and 630/2024 require successful completion of the activation procedures specified in these decrees.
For scholarships within the Innovative Doctorates with an industrial focus, funded by the Marche Region, candidates must:
- Be residents or domiciled in the Marche region.
- Be unemployed as per current regulations.
- Be under 36 years of age.
These residency, domicile, and age requirements must be met at the time of application submission.
Eligibility for Doctoral Programs
Admission is open to:
- Graduates of master’s programs (“laurea specialistica/magistrale”).
- Graduates with degrees from before Ministerial Decree 509/99.
- Holders of equivalent academic qualifications from non-Italian universities.
- Students graduating by October 31st, 2024 (admission will be conditional, and a self-declaration must be submitted by November 8th, 2024, in line with
- Presidential Decree Nr. 445/2000).
Additional Requirements for Scholarship Recipients
A form detailing the method of scholarship payment and national insurance contribution (INPS).
Additional Documents for Candidates with Foreign Academic Qualifications
Candidates with foreign degrees must provide:
A copy of the degree certificate with an Italian translation, authentication, and a “declaration of value” issued by the relevant Italian consulate or diplomatic office, or a Diploma Supplement or certificate of comparability and verification issued by an ENIC-NARIC center.
Additional Documents for Foreign Citizens
- Non-EU citizens: A copy of the “Permit of Stay” or proof of application for it.
- EU citizens: A copy of the registration certificate from the town hall of residence.
